How I help

I work with individuals, professionals and coaches who want clarity, confidence and sustainable change. People often come to me when they feel stuck between knowing what needs to change and actually being able to do it. This may look like:

  • improving health and wellbeing
  • managing stress and overwhelm
  • working with neurodivergent strengths
  • career and professional transitions
  • leadership and confidence
  • reflective supervision for coaches

My role is to help you make sense of what matters most and translate that into practical action that genuinely fits your life.

My approach

I am passionate about combining a coaching approach with evidence-based lifestyle medicine.

My style is warm, thoughtful and highly individualised.

Rather than offering generic advice, I help people understand what works for them — their values, energy, circumstances and day-to-day realities.

I believe that sustainable change happens when people feel understood, empowered and supported to move at the right pace.

This includes bringing both my professional and lived understanding of neurodiversity into my work, helping people work with their minds and strengths rather than against them.

Experience & Expertise

Alongside my independent coaching and supervision practice, I continue to work across a portfolio of NHS and professional roles.

I work clinically as a GP in community services and hold wider roles in mentoring, coaching and supervision for healthcare professionals.

I am also co-founder and director of LifeMed Community, where we support healthcare professionals and coaches to bring the benefits of lifestyle medicine and coaching into practice.

My qualifications and professional roles include:

  • MBChB
  • MRCGP
  • DipBSLM / IBLM – Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine
  • Advanced Diploma in Transformational Coaching
  • ILM Level 7 Coach
  • ILM Level 7 Coaching Supervisor
  • UKIHCA Registered Health Coach
  • Fellow of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine
  • Accredited coach with association for coaching

I am a member of the UKIHCA, EMCC and AC professional bodies for coaching.

Why this work matters to me

Lifestyle medicine and coaching are not simply professional interests for me — they are deeply personal.

Over the years, I have experienced first-hand how small, realistic and evidence-based changes in daily habits can have a profound impact on wellbeing, resilience and quality of life.

As a doctor, coach, supervisor, mum of three and someone who understands the realities of busy modern life, I know how difficult it can be to balance health, family, work and everything else life asks of us.  That lived understanding shapes how I work.

I want this to feel like a space where you feel understood, supported and empowered to create change that genuinely fits your life.

More about me

Outside work, I’m also a mum of three, and I understand first-hand the challenge of balancing health, family life, professional responsibility and personal wellbeing.

I love being outdoors — especially long walks in nature and family trips to the Lake District.  Movement, mindfulness and time in nature are important parts of how I support my own wellbeing, and they continue to shape the way I work with others.

I’m committed to making reliable, evidence-based wellbeing support feel practical, accessible and human.
